Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Price in India For Factory-fitted Tubeless Spoke Wheels

Triumph India made headlines earlier this year with the launch of the Scrambler 400 XC, a slightly more rugged version of the standard Scrambler 400 X. One of its most noticeable upgrades is the inclusion of factory-fitted tubeless spoke wheels—something that’s rare even among premium bikes made in India. With a price tag of ₹2.94 lakh (ex-showroom), the 400 XC carries a premium of around ₹27,000 over the base model. However, that extra cost barely scratches the surface when compared to what you’d spend if you opted to buy those wheels separately.

The company recently revealed the standalone prices for these wheels, and they are quite steep. The front tubeless spoke wheel costs ₹34,876, while the rear is priced at ₹36,875. These prices are considerably higher because the wheels are not produced locally—they’re imported.

For owners of the standard Scrambler 400 X, this makes upgrading an expensive affair. While the wheels can be directly fitted onto the standard model without any mechanical changes, they do come with added weight—about 1.1 kg more than the stock alloy wheels—and a few important caveats when it comes to warranty.

Though Triumph 400 XC Price Details

Scrambler 400 X

Though Triumph allows Scrambler 400 X users to buy and install these tubeless spoke wheels, the brand doesn’t extend the same full warranty benefits that come with factory-fitted parts on the XC model. Only manufacturing defects in the rims are covered. Any damage like bent rims or run-out problems, as well as issues with the spokes, won’t be eligible for warranty claims. That’s a key detail that potential buyers should be aware of before shelling out close to ₹72,000 for a pair.

The Scrambler 400 XC now stands alongside only a handful of motorcycles in India offering such wheels straight from the factory. Others in this small group include the latest Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Goan Classic 350. Among them, Royal Enfield has also made some noise recently by updating the pricing of its aftermarket tubeless spoke wheels. They now cost ₹40,655 if purchased separately but remain at a significantly lower ₹11,000 when ordered along with the bike.

If we says in short, Triumph’s decision to offer tubeless spoke wheels for separate purchase is great for customization enthusiasts—but comes at a steep cost. The added weight and lack of full warranty coverage might make some think twice. So, if you’re considering an upgrade from the standard Scrambler 400 X, the factory-equipped 400 XC might still offer better overall value.
